EuropaSchule, located in Residencial San José del Pedregal near UNAH Cortés in San Pedro Sula, is looking for a dedicated and dynamic School Counselor to join our team. Position: School Counselor

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee alternative curriculums, including individualized education plans (IEPs) for special education and homeschooling programs.
  • Provide guidance and support to ensure the emotional and social well-being of students.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and leadership to address individual student needs and create a supportive learning environment.
  • Design and implement strategies to promote inclusivity, resilience, and academic success for all students.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday: 6:45 AM to 3:00 PM
  • Wednesday: Extended hours until 5:00 PM

Requirements:

  • Advanced proficiency in English (C1 or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in counseling, special education, or related fields.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, or Psychology (Master’s preferred).
  • Experience with developing alternative curriculums and implementing special education plans.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
